When a project has been uploaded to the server, we will need to ensure that all appropriate people have access to the website. When adding a new developer who does not have a Classic City Consulting email to a client’s website, make sure to let the client know of the addition.
Account Nomenclature
- First Name
- Last Name
- Email Address (always @classiccity.com)
- Username (always firstNameLastName – chrislafay, dawnaudano, danielcowan, etc..)
- Role should be Admin
Who to Grant Access
- Developer of the project
- Project Manager of the project
- Account Manager of the project
- Content Importer of the project (if applicable)
- Chris LaFay
How to Grant Access
When you are done creating the accounts, just let the people know the domain the website is loaded on and that they can run a Forgot Password to create a new password for themselves. You don’t need to worry about distributing passwords to everyone.
