While there’s a range of design tools available, Classic City has chosen Figma as the designated design application.
The Why
Team Collaboration: Figma enables seamless collaboration across our team, ensuring efficiency and shared expertise.
Consistency Matters: We’ve opted for Figma to maintain design consistency throughout projects, streamlining our workflow.
Efficient Communication: By utilizing a single tool, we enhance communication clarity, resulting in effective project management.
The How
Figma files need to be set-up within the Classic City Workspace. If you don’t have the capability to add a project, speak with your project manager to get access.
Sharing Files
All Figma files should be shared with editing capabilities to your project manager, the Solutions Director, Director of Operations, and Chris LaFay (chris@classiccity.com)
During the design phase, sharing your Figma designs efficiently for review is essential. The most up-to-date instructions are available on Figma’s website →, but here is a basic overview:
- Locate the Share Button: In the top-right corner of the Figma UI, click the “Share” button.
- Set Sharing Options: Choose “View Only,” “Comment,” or “Edit” access settings.
- Generate the Link: Click “Copy Link” to create a shareable link
- Share the Link: Paste the link into Asana, Slack, or other tools you use.
- Tag Relevant Members: Tag your project manager anywhere you share the link (Asana, Slack, etc.)
